Radar, GWR, magnetostrictive – they all come and go. The 12400 just keeps working. It’s a torque tube displacer with a proper pneumatic or smart HART head, built like a tank, and the only level instrument most old-school operators trust on interface and overall level in hot, dirty, high-pressure service. Plants have been running the same units since the 90s and only replace the displacer every turnaround.
