The Fisher DVC6205 is the remote mounted valve positioner head, and the DVC6215 is the feedback unit that stays on the valve. Plants use this setup when the valve is in a bad spot – high vibration, extreme temperature, or hard to reach. The electronics sit up to 300 feet away in a better place, connected by cable. It gives the same digital control and diagnostics as the standard DVC6200 but protects the sensitive parts.
