The displacer level transmitter that refineries keep installing on crude and vacuum columns
The Masoneilan 12400 is a torque-tube displacer level transmitter with smart electronics. It measures level, interface, or density in process vessels. Many plants still use it on high-pressure, high-temperature services because the torque tube design keeps electronics out of the process and the sensor survives dirty, viscous, or corrosive media. It's the one that survives years in refinery boot legs and separator service.
