The Fi sher FIELDVUE DVC2000 HC is a compact, microprocessor-based digital valve controller that functions as a communicating current-to-pneumatic positioner. It converts a standard 4-20 mA input signal into a precise pneumatic output for control valve actuators while supporting HART communication for configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics.

This instrument level (HC) provides advanced configuration capabilities including travel limits and cutoffs, custom characterization, and minimum open/closing times. It features a linkage-less, non-contact magnetic Hall-effect feedback system that eliminates physical contact with the valve stem, reducing wear and simplifying mounting and maintenance. Setup and calibration can be performed via the local push-button LCD interface or through HART tools. An optional I/O package adds two integral limit switches and a position transmitter. The two-stage design delivers responsive control with low steady-state air consumption.

Used in process industries including chemical, oil and gas, power generation, refining, and general manufacturing for precise control of pneumatic actuated control valves.
