The TS900 and TS905 are smart pneumatic valve positioners for control valves using pneumatic actuators. They convert a 4–20 mA DC control signal into pneumatic output to adjust valve position.
The positioner can be used with both linear and rotary valve applications. The specified stroke range is 10–150 mm for linear applications and 0–90° for rotary applications.
A local LCD and four buttons are provided for operation and configuration. The design also includes automatic calibration, partial stroke testing, alarm functions and an Auto/Manual switch.
The TS900 has an aluminum die-cast body. The TS905 uses SUS316 stainless steel, providing a different housing option for projects where stainless-steel construction is required.

The series also supports optional HART 7, a 2-wire position transmitter, and an alarm switch, depending on the selected configuration. The position transmitter and alarm switch use a 9–30 V DC supply in the published option specifications.
The TS900/TS905 series can be used where pneumatic control valves require electronic position control.
Common applications include:
For hazardous-area installations, the applicable certification and temperature conditions should be checked against the exact product configuration.
First check the input current, instrument air pressure and pneumatic connections. A 4–20 mA signal alone cannot compensate for insufficient or unstable instrument air.
Verify whether the positioner is configured for the correct linear or rotary application. Also check the feedback mechanism and mechanical connection between the positioner and actuator.
Check the mechanical installation before repeating automatic calibration. Incorrect feedback linkage or an unsuitable actuator setup can interfere with calibration.
Inspect the input signal, air supply and actuator. The positioner is part of the complete control loop, so instability may originate from the control signal or actuator rather than the positioner itself.
Confirm the required ambient and explosion-proof temperature range before installation. Standard and low-temperature configurations have different published operating ranges.
TS900 and TS905 can be evaluated as replacement smart valve positioners for compatible pneumatic control valve systems.
The replacement process should start with the existing positioner rather than the product appearance. The following information is important:
| Check Item | Required Information |
|---|---|
| Existing Positioner | Brand and model |
| Signal | 4–20 mA or other |
| Valve Type | Linear / rotary |
| Valve Stroke | mm or degree |
| Actuator | Brand and model |
| Air Supply | Operating pressure |
| Mounting | Mounting arrangement |
| Housing | Aluminum / stainless steel requirement |
| Communication | Standard / HART |
| Feedback | Position transmitter requirement |
| Hazardous Area | Required certification |
| Quantity | Number of units |
TS900 is the aluminum die-cast version, while TS905 is the SUS316 stainless-steel version. Selection should therefore take installation conditions and housing requirements into account.
We focus on the actual valve and actuator configuration rather than recommending a positioner based only on the model name.
For an existing positioner, the nameplate information can be used to check signal, housing, options and other key requirements.
HART, position transmitter and alarm switch requirements can be confirmed before quotation.
We can supply related valve automation products, including control valves, actuators, valve positioners and instrumentation.
We support overseas procurement with quotation, product confirmation, order coordination and delivery arrangements.
TS900 and TS905 stock status depends on the model, quantity and selected configuration.
The standard version and versions equipped with optional HART, position transmitter or alarm switch may have different supply schedules.
Please provide the exact model and quantity when requesting a quotation. Current availability and estimated delivery time can then be checked according to the required configuration.
