The Masoneilan SVI II AP (Advanced Performance) Digital Valve Positioner is a 32-bit microprocessor-based instrument designed for precise control of single-acting and double-acting pneumatic actuators. It receives a two-wire 4-20 mA control signal and delivers a proportional pneumatic output to position the valve, supporting accurate and responsive control for both linear and rotary applications. The SVI II AP uses proven non-contact position sensing technology that eliminates mechanical wear and simplifies installation on any actuator with NAMUR, IEC 60534-6-1, or IEC 60534-6-2 mounting capabilities. Its local LCD and pushbuttons allow full configuration, calibration, and tuning directly at the device, and they are operable in all certified hazardous environments. The instrument supports HART 5 or HART 7 communication over the 4-20 mA loop, enabling bi-directional remote access to valve condition data and diagnostic alerts. Common Problems
